INSTALLING Wife 1.0 Software!!!

Dear Systems Analyst,
I am desperate for some help! I recently upgraded my program from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 and found that the new program began unexpected Child Processing and also took up a lot of space and valuable resources.

This wasn't mentioned in the product brochure. In addition Wife 1.0 installs itself into all other programs and launches during systems initialization and then it monitors all other system activities.
An application such as ‘Girls party 7..5’, ‘Night out 2.5’ and ‘Golf 5.3’ no longer run, and crashes the system whenever selected. Attempting to operate selected 'Saturday Rugby 6.3' always fails and 'Saturday Shopping 7.1' runs instead.
I cannot seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background whilst attempting to run any of my favorite applications. Be it online or offline.
I am thinking of going back to 'Girlfriend 7.0', but uninstall doesn't work on this program. Can you please
help?

Dear Customer,
This is a very common problem resulting from a basic misunderstanding of the functions of the Wife 1.0 program. Many customers upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 thinking that Wife 1.0 is merely a UTILITY AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM.
Actually, Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM designed by its Creator to run everything on your current platform. You are unlikely to be able to purge Wife 1.0 and still convert back to Girlfriend 7.0, as Wife 1.0 was not designed to do this and it is impossible to uninstall, delete or purge the program files from the System once it is installed.
Some people have tried to install Girlfriend 8.0 or Wife 2.0 but have ended up with even more problems. (See manual under Alimony/Child Support and Solicitors' Fees).
Having Wife 1.0 installed, I recommend you keep it installed and deal with the difficulties as best as you can. When any faults or problems occur, whatever you think has caused them, you must run the.........C:\ APOLOGIZE\ FORGIVE ME.EXE Program and avoid attempting to use the *Esc-Key for it will freeze the entire system.
It may be necessary to run C:\ APOLOGIZE\ FORGIVE ME.EXE a number of times, and eventually hope that the operating system will return to normal.
Wife 1.0, although a very high maintenance program, can be very rewarding. To get the most out of it, consider buying additional Software such as 'Flowers 2.0' and 'Chocolates 5.0' or 'HUGS\ KISSES 600.0' or 'TENDERNESS\ UNDERSTANDING 1000.0' or even Eating out without the Kids 7.2.1' (if Child processing has already started).
DO NOT under any circumstances install 'Secretary 2.1' (Short Skirt Version) or 'One Nightstand 3.2' (Any Mood Version), as this is not a supported Application for Wife 1.0 and the system will almost certainly CRASH.
Wife 1.0 very sensitive operating system, you need handle with care then it will be a very enjoyable one.

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and I noticed a distinct slowdown in the overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewellery applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NEWS5.0, MONEY 3.0 and HOCKEY 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2..6 simply crashes the system.

Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.
What can I do?

DEAR Madam,

First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.Html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update.

If that application works as designed, Husband1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5..

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Silence 2.5 or Out of the house 6.1.
Please note that Out of the house 6.1. is a very bad program that will download the Rarely at home Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. This is an unsupported application and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot cannot accept a new application without some customization and work.

You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance.
We recommend: Cooking 3.0, and Good Looks 7.7.

"Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?"

The fishermen explained that their small catches were sufficient to meet their needs and those of their families.

"But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

"We sleep late, fish a little, play with our children, and take siestas with our wives. In the evenings, we go into the village to see our friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs.

We have a full life."

The tourist interrupted,

"I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you!
You should start by fishing longer every day.
You can then sell the extra fish you catch.
With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."

"And after that?"

"With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers.
Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant.

You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City , Los Angeles , or even New York City !

From there you can direct your huge new enterprise."

"How long would that take?"

"Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years." replied the tourist.

"And after that?"

Social Mobility among Muslim Cham in Cambodia

This study aims at exploring the social mobility of Muslim Cham in
Cambodia by taking Chong Kneas as a case study. By “social mobility,” I refer to the
movement of individuals or the whole family between different levels of economic
status and social standing. The findings show that household mobility into and out
of poverty of the Muslim Cham at Chong Kneas is determined by economic
opportunity and resources and access to technology, but also by social relationships
based on religion and ethnic group. They also show that mobility based on
livelihoods diversification depends on the availability of non-dependent labour in the
household group.

In Chong Kneas, Muslim Chams can be divided into three different groups
measured by wealth: poor, middle and wealthy. The wealthy benefit from their
involvements in fishing and the tourism sector. Individual Cham working in the
tourist industry can as a family earn US$ 50 to US$ 100 a day. The middle group
simply are those whose jobs are fishermen. They normally get involved in fishery
and have their own means of catching fish. Their daily incomes are various in
accordance with fishing season, but the average is US$ 10 to US$ 49. The poor are
those Cham who do possess minimal means of production, say in fishing. They use
their labor to earn money such as fishing laborers or porters.

Access to resources is another influentual factor. Situated in the lake, some
social resources including land ownership, educational institutions, healthcare center
or even financial aid, are far from their reach. Land ownership is what the Muslim
Cham perceived as their main means of social mobility. That is why more and more
Muslim Cham are still trying to get a piece of land outside the community.

As Amartya Sen defined poverty as lacking of access to resources, the poor
in Chong Kneas live in poverty defined by lack of access to material resources and
social opportunity and services while the higher group conversely have relative
wealth and greater access to resources and opportunity, including opportunity for
mobility.

Livelihood Strategies of Muslim Cham after Pol Pot Regime

This paper aims at exploring livelihood strategies of Muslim Cham in a floating village, Chong Kneas, Siem Reap, right after the fall of the Pol Pot regime in 1979 up to 1990s.

The researcher was inspired to conduct this project because of the view that Cambodians in general and Muslim Cham in particular started their new life with “empty-hands.” Economic policy of the state was discussed in the paper in order to reflect and check with the real practice of Muslim Cham in the village level. Findings show that social capital is the main strategy used by Muslim Cham for survival and continuation of their livelihood.

"Khmer Issarak Movement: A Case-Study on A Former Issarak Fighter"

A study entitled as "Khmer Issarak Movement: A Case-Study on A Former Issarak Fighter" is made here in order to learn about the struggle style and life of the movement, which were formed to attain Cambodia independence from France, basing on a former Issarak man.

In general, Issarak men were not deserved gratitude from Cambodian people at all. Neither was he, who had sacrified himself for the sake of Cambodia independence when they talk the independence movement.However, they was accused of "Issarochak", bandits of Issarak. Of course, it is partly true because the KIM-(Khmer Issarak Movement) consisted of all kinds of people. They were rightists and leftists, real nationalists, and fake nationalists or opportunists like bandits who did not love independence, but were too clever to steal and rob people when there was chaos in the country. It is also because most Cambodian people did not realize that Issarak men, especially their leaders came from the place of different backgrounds, political philosophies, agendas, and ethnicities. I would like to emphasize that this study is neither made to condemn anyone as bandits or bad Issarak at all, nor I try to persuade Cambodian people and all readers to believe that some particular group of Issarak movements were good or real nationalists.

This study aims to generate real information or events and facts happened to the KIM. Then these events must be processed and honestly revealed to the public. Any judgement or evaluations are their duty, from their own points of view. But I think the best evaluation should be judged basing on the facts. It is an effort for a small study on history of KIM, especially the one of Prince Chantaraingsey's group through a living document. It is Mr. Ny Vanthy who is now already 73 years old (in the year of 2006) and was interviewed to get a lot of facts of KIM. It is the right time to do it because he is so old now and he would bring all the facts with him when he died. And we cannot wait for the big scope of study. Therefore, I decided to study about the KIM basing mainly on only this eyewitness.

The objectives of this study are to find out the struggle life of the KIM, its conflict with opposing groups, its fighting strategies, its internal policies, its relation with external institutions as well as to study the changes they made, its causes and effects. In the process of collecting data, I encountered many difficulties including the lack of documents, though. In addition, what got me into trouble was that our key informant, Ny Vanthy could not remember the dates of some events. For example, he did not remember the date that he was recruited by his commander, Hem Khan, to learn in the school of army at Taniev of Kampong Speu. He only remembers that it was during the time that Son Gnoc Thanh escaped to the Maquis again. In this case, I need to search for the date. It was a difficult, but interesting task to be in this situation because after patiently searched for it, I finally discovered that Son Gnoc Thanh escaped to the Maquis again in June 09, 1952. Therefore, Ny Vanthy studied the military strategies in June 09, 1952. Similarly, physical difficulties came to me, too. Though I took my study time in the class to interview the key informant, there were several times that I missed to do the interview because he had gone away on his own business. In return, this study does teach and guide me greatly. It brings me a realistic experience of research and especially the knowledge as well as the details of leftist and rightist KIM in the Maquis.

Now I believe in many shoolar opinion stated "Research has no end." It depends on two main words, time and space. Anyway, the study I am doing must meaningfully lack and inaccidentally have mistake. That why I am ready to receive your comments to make this book better and more accurate. Finally, I hope it is necessary and contribute to later studies or researches.
